As travelers arrive at Harry Reid International Airport, they’re greeted by the vibrant sounds of our custom playlist, which features homegrown artists, headliners past and present, and Las Vegas-themed tunes.
The curated list aims to give customers a taste of what they’ll experience during their visit, while enhancing the Vegas vibe in the terminals. Artists include Southern Nevada locals The Killers and Imagine Dragons, as well as performers with longtime residencies like Celine Dion, Elton John, Santana and Rod Stewart.
It also celebrates the city’s past with hits from Elvis Presley and an array of songs by Rat Pack crooners Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin.
Christina Aguilera, Lenny Kravitz, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, U2, and Usher have recently joined the lineup.
The eclectic mix is also peppered with songs like Sheryl Crow’s “Leaving Las Vegas,” Kenny Rogers’ “The Gambler” and AC/DC’s “Sin City.”
During special events like the National Finals Rodeo, airport guests will hear an increase in country music; and during the holidays the sounds of seasonal tunes peformed by artists with ties to Las Vegas fill the air.
The airport also works with local athletes and entertainers to record welcome messages. Along with the hand-selected music, travelers hear greetings from Vegas Golden Knights players, NASCAR drivers and Las Vegas Aces stars.
