The airport is tagged daily in fun and creative photos on social media. Whether it’s a shot of an aircraft taking off against the Vegas skyline, a fun selfie from the D Gates, or a unique view of the terminal, we love seeing the images our travelers share. LAS recently held an Aviation Day Photo Contest to celebrate all of these creative moments. The contest was a great success with over 85 entries! Staff ultimately chose six finalists and one winner to be featured in a digital slideshow on our social media page.

Congrats to the winner, Garey Martin (@gtmaviation)! His fantastic shot of the airfield amidst a lightning storm highlights the unique weather we experience in Southern Nevada!
