Virgin Atlantic restarted its nonstop service between Las Vegas and Manchester, England, on June 2. Last offered in fall 2019, the flights will operate three times weekly — on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays — on an Airbus A350.
Passengers on board the inaugural flight were greeted by showgirls and offered complimentary sweet treats as they exited Customs.
The airline celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. Virgin founder and CEO Sir Richard Branson attended events in Las Vegas the week of the inaugural flight, including officiating the wedding of two of the airline’s crew members.
