It was a hero’s welcome for nearly two dozen veterans arriving back at Harry Reid International Airport last month. They were part of the most recent Honor Flight trip, which celebrates America’s veterans by inviting them to share in a day of honor at our nation’s memorials.
This group included veterans from World War II, the Korean and Vietnam Wars who were flown by Southwest Airlines to Washinton, D.C., to visit the memorials that were built to commemorate their service and sacrifice.
