LAS is more than a portal connecting passengers and places; it’s also people who are committed to this community.
At a recent volunteer event on Mount Charleston, 35 members of the LAS Community Enrichment Team pitched in to clean up on the mountain.
The cleanup was just one of four volunteer events held each year. The airport also hosts two annual donation drives — for back-to-school and the holiday season — and participates in the Vegas Strong Walk/Run to benefit victims, survivors and first responders of the 1 October shooting.
In total, the Community Enrichment Team volunteers more than 150 hours a year.
