The Clark County Department of Aviation hosted a Career Expo on April 4 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It was a unique opportunity for job-seekers to network with airlines, airport businesses, federal agencies and more — all in one place.
The event drew a crowd of approximately 350 aspiring airport professionals. Representatives of 20 organizations, including multiple work groups within the Department of Aviation, were on hand to discuss the wide range of jobs available at LAS. Potential employers collected more than 250 resumes and conducted more than 100 on-the-spot interviews.
With contingent offers extended to 30 attendees, the Career Expo succeeded in opening the door to some bright new futures.
