This month, Virgin Atlantic celebrates a remarkable journey — 25 years of nonstop service to Las Vegas!
In June of 2000, Virgin arrived from London in style, becoming the first airline to offer direct service to Southern Nevada from across the pond. Its partnership with LAS opened the door to scheduled transatlantic routes to Las Vegas.
Virgin was here for the opening of Terminal 3 in 2012 and was the first international carrier to gate at the new facility.
In 2021, the airline kicked off the highly anticipated return of transoceanic service to Las Vegas after a 20-month pandemic pause.
Over the last 25 years, service has expanded to include daily flights from London Heathrow, as well as three flights per week from Manchester.
