In a refreshing twist to airport amenities, a collaborative venture by local entrepreneurs has brought two new boba tea vending machines to Harry Reid Airport. BRB Boba, a women- and minority-owned venture, combines convenience with a popular beverage, offering travelers a quick and delicious way to satisfy their cravings.
The vending machines feature a variety of boba tea flavors courtesy of Brew Tea Bar, one of Las Vegas’ most beloved milk tea brands. Each drink is freshly prepared using high-quality ingredients, providing a taste of the popular drink right in the heart of the airport.
The entrepreneurs behind this venture are thrilled to contribute to the airport’s dynamic food scene.
“I want travelers to know that BRB BOBA stands for quality, innovation, and a dash of fun, said Nicole Lee, co-founder and CEO. “We’re committed to delivering an authentic boba tea experience quickly and conveniently, without compromising on the flavor and care that boba tea enthusiasts cherish.”
Nicole and her business partner Brianna Lee were excited to bring their brand to the airport and give passengers a taste of something unique.
“Airports are vibrant hubs where every minute counts. We saw an opportunity to transform hectic travel schedules into moments of delight,” Nicole says. “By placing our vending machines here, we provide travelers with a unique, refreshing experience that brightens their journey.”
Uplifting small local businesses is at the heart of the concessions program at LAS. Staff offer workshops for aspiring airport business owners and network in the community to help entrepreneurs understand what it takes to work in an airport environment.
Nicole has advice for others like her who are interested in doing business at LAS.
“Understand that airports are fast-paced and highly regulated environments. Do thorough research, build robust relationships with airport authorities, and be ready to adapt quickly,” she said. “Success in this setting requires flexibility, meticulous planning, and a keen eye for the diverse needs of travelers.”
Another local, women-owned small business recently entered the market at LAS — Til Death Do Us Party specialty vending. Located in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 Baggage Claim, the “I’m a Party Machine” offers everything visitors need for a Vegas celebration, including bachelorette essentials, party supplies, themed kits, and hangover recovery items.
These unique vending machines enhance the passenger experience at LAS while highlighting the entrepreneurial spirit in Las Vegas.
